United Nations - “The UN is about solidarity with those in need,” the UN Deputy Secretary-General Jan Eliasson, said today in an interview with the UN News Service, on the world body’s response to the cholera epidemic in Haiti. He also spoke of the commitment he and Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon share on the issue, as well as the Organization’s ongoing engagement with the Caribbean country.
