Warriors - Maasai Cricket Documentary Promo

Thanks for checking out "Warriors" , our documentary following a group of Maasai who've incredibly taken up the game of cricket. They dream of reaching England next summer and playing in a tournament; not only because they genuinely love the game, but also because they believe it will give them a status to positively influence the future of their village.

For there is a dark heart in the region - HIV/Aids, FGM, domestic abuse and childhood marriages are all major issues that threaten the health, safety, and future of the Maasai. The cricket team are encouraging unity, education and equality and are attempting to end these harmful traditional practices. The elders however, fear changing traditions will herald the end of the Maasai heritage, and the tribe itself.

We're about a third of the way through filming, with lots more to do, but hopefully this will give you a taster of some of the things we've shot so far.
