Betty demonstrates how to make Beet and Apple Salad. This recipe was sent in by Tori Durham of Burlington, Ontario Canada. It is a large salad -- great for a potluck dinner.
Beet and Apple Salad
5 cored and diced Granny Smith apples
3 cans cooked beets that have been diced
1 package shredded carrots
Dressing:
½ cup red wine vinegar or apple cider vinegar
¼ teaspoon sugar
3 tablespoons honey
freshly ground coarse salt, to taste
freshly ground black peppercorns, to taste
In a very large bowl, gently mix together apples, beets, and carrots. Add dressing ingredients and gently toss. Cover with plastic wrap and chill until ready to serve. Enjoy! Thanks, Tori Durham, for another great recipe! --Betty 
