INGREDIENTS:
1 cup CAROB buttons (not chocolate as it is toxic for dogs)
1 tablespoon Crisco / Copha
Red & Green Natural Plant Extract Food Colors
5 Peanut Butter Cookie sticks and/or
5 Stick shaped dog treats - hard not soft
METHOD:
Melt carob buttons and Copha in microwave for approx 1 minute
Stir briskly with fork or spoon until smooth
Place the melted carob into two separate containers and stir in a few drops of the RED food color in one and GREEN food color in the other.
Dip each light sabre stick 3/4 into the colored melted carob - making some Green & some Red
Leave the top end of the sticks bare to look like light sable handle.
Stand each stick upright in container until the carob has cooled and hardened. You can refrigerate for half an hour or so to speed up the process.
