In this video I show how to make a wallet out of hot melt glue sticks for glue gun. This is the first of seven videos from my DIY Marathon (July 9 – July 15). New video every day – so don't miss the next ones. :)
I've decided to try something new and create some kind of mini TV series of 7 episodes. :) One episode – one DIY project with glue gun (or hot melt sticks for a glue gun). So, I'll upload new video each day from July 9th till July 15th.
For some projects you will not even need a glue gun – just glue sticks and an iron. :)
For the “DAY1” video – DIY Wallet Out of hot melt glue sticks for glue gun – you will need:
7 hot melt glue sticks (diameter 7 mm, length 21 cm)
baking paper
iron
a piece of velcro
acrylic paint
If your glue gun sticks are longer than 21 cm – just cut the excess with scissors or knife.
Use the highest iron's temperature to melt the sticks.
Make sure the baking paper you use doesn't stick to the hot glue after it (glue) cool.
When ironing – try to smash the air bubbles in melted glue between two sheets of baking paper.
Instead of using a hot glue gun to secure the velcro – you can glue it with a super glue or even sew it!
Good luck! And watch my next DIY project with glue gun!
