These are the easiest donut bites you'll probably ever make! Canned biscuit dough is cut into bite-sized pieces, air-fried until golden brown, and tossed in cinnamon sugar. Served alongside a simple strawberry dip, these melt-in-your-mouth donuts are a great quick treat or indulgent breakfast you can make in minutes.
INGREDIENTS
Donuts:
1 (16.3-ounce) can Pillsbury Grands!™ Flaky Layers Biscuits
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
½ cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Strawberry Dip:
1 cup powdered sugar, or more as needed
¼ cup dehydrated strawberries or any freeze-dried fruit you like (optional: blend until finely ground for a smoother texture)
1 tablespoon milk or heavy cream, or more as needed
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
PREPARATION
Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (180°C).
Make the donuts: Open the can of biscuits and cut each biscuit into quarters to make bite-sized pieces. Place the biscuit pieces in the air fryer basket, making sure to leave room between them.
Air fry for 5-6 minutes, until golden brown and cooked through.
Transfer the donuts from the air fryer to a large bowl. Drizzle the melted butter over the donuts. In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cinnamon until well combined; sprinkle over the donuts and mix until evenly coated.
Make the dip: In a medium bowl, whisk together the powdered sugar, dehydrated strawberries, milk, and vanilla until smooth. Add more milk to reach the desired consistency. If you want a thicker consistency, sprinkle in a bit more powdered sugar.
Serve the warm donuts with the dip, and enjoy!
