During the summer season you should give your hair and scalp extra care.
The hot season can be very dangerous for your hair, infact a group of researchers in Italy has just discovered that an excessive ultraviolet exposion of your hair, can trigger hair loss, bringing the hair follicles into the last stage of their life (telogen) much faster than they would.
In this video I talk about the 5 golden rules to protect your hair during the hot months, so that it doesn't get damaged.
The first rule is quite simple: use a hat or a bandana to protect your hair.
The second is also simple: use organic coconut oil or jojoba oil to shild your flocks from UV rays.
The third one is also simple, but too many forget: rinse and wash your hair after swimming in the pool and in the sea ( chlorine, salt and minerals can be damaging for your hair)
The fourth rule: use organic mild shampoos and conditioners.
Dont use cheap shampoos full of harsh ingredients, or expensive shampoos full of silicons.
Pay attention to the INCI of the products you use on your scalp.
