0:00: I think today more than ever people feel completely shut down.
0:04: A lot of people feel hopeless and like they're just going through the motions of their lives.
0:09: They're going to work, they're coming home, they're going to sleep, and they're repeating it day after day.
0:14: Now this is something I see all the time, and it's called functional dissociation.
0:20: Functional dissociation is when you're shut down or you're numb to everything.
0:26: And at the same time, you can still do what you need to do.
0:29: You can do the dishes, you can get to your job, you can get your car serviced, and you can still even socialize.
0:36: But at the same time, you're just going through the motions.
0:41: So here are some signs of functional dissociation.
