My name is Kid Glyde. I'm the leader of the Dynamic Rockers, pretty famous B-Boy. I travel around the world, I organize events. I've been dancing for 15 years. So I think I'm pretty credible to teach you. Be positive, be strong, let's do it.All right, now if you want to be a B-Boy, you know, I have a lot of advice. First, definitely learn about the history of the dance, you know? If you want to be a part of it you should know about it, you know? It's necessary.Learn about it. Find out where it started. Find out who you want to learn from. You'd be like, you can just look at somebody's style and be like, "Wow! I want to learn from him. He inspired me." So you go and learn from that person. That person, if they teach you, they teach you. Or if they don't, then you learn from somebody that learned from them. Or you could just watch them. But do not bite.Biting is basically taking someone else's move. You know, basically when somebody does something, and they do it where everyone else can see it, is basically a copier. They're known for that, you know? So, don't do that. So, to be a B-Boy you have to learn about the dance. Be a part of the dance. Be patient. You have to work diligently. You have to be consistent, you know, it takes time. So be patient. And just work hard, you know? Go to events. Support the community and just be there, you know?To become a B-Boy you have to live it. You have to feel it, you know? Once you feel it you'll, you'll understand. And you'll know, like, "Wow! I feel like a B-Boy." It doesn't happen overnight. It doesn't. So don't have any expectations to have it tomorrow or "I want to be a B-Boy," and you go out and buy some gear and the hat and listen to some CD's and be a B-Boy. No. You have to live it.So, respect the culture. Respect the dance and be a part of it.
