My name is Kid Glyde. I'm the leader of the Dynamic Rockers, pretty famous B-Boy. I travel around the world, I organize events. I've been dancing for 15 years. So I think I'm pretty credible to teach you. Be positive, be strong, let's do it.How to freestye. Me, I have to be comfortable to freestyle. So, usually, I go into my little zone. Do my 1, my 2 step, you know? Like I see everybody else in the cypher, ready to go out. They're doing their 2-step, you know? And that's the basics for me. Actually, it'd be better if I could show you with some music. So, let's get some music goin'. Alright, so now, I'm listening, right? I'm trying to let loose, I'm trying to get in that zone. I wanna feel free, you know? I'm going to the music, trying to groove. That's all it's about is grooving, you know? Once you feel comfortable, you go out to that cypher, alright? You know? Your feet are going side to side. In freestyling is just, basically letting lose, alright? Boom, ah, gonna play with your shoulders, right? Play with your feet, bam, bam, bam. Down, go around. Wanna go down, up, back. Whatever you want, you know? That's freestyling, you know? But that's all top rock. Now you wanna do some footwork, you freestyle to certain moves that you learn. 6 step, you know? Do 3 steps. Whatever it is, at this, at that moment, and how you feel you wanna be able to do. You just wanna let lose, make it look authentic. You wanna be real, just be you. Don't be somebody else. Don't do anybody else's moves. Be you, okay? Sometimes it leads into a battle, where you're competing against each other. Or you're showing the other person, oh, I'm better than you. But, you just wanna learn how to freestyle, and it takes practice. Just like all the moves, learning how to freestyle takes practice. You have to keep doing it over and over and over again, alright? And, that's the best way to learn how to freestyle, is just going out there, and enjoying yourself. If you're not enjoying yourself, you're not freestyling, straight up.
