TRANSCRIPT
If you've neglected your carbon steel wok from months or even years you're likely to find rust, food debris or even a sticky film on it. It's easy to clean it with my wok facial. Just heat the wok over high heat until a drop of water evaporates within a second or two. Then remove the wok from the heat. Pour two teaspoons of salt, a teaspoon of vegetable oil, and then use a paper towel pad to rub the mixture around the entire interior of the wok. Brush the salt mixture out. Rinse the wok with hot water and heat it until all the water has evaporated. It will rejuvenate your wok just like a facial does.
