The holidays are a time when it seems like you need more equipment then you have, like a funnel. But you don't need to run out and buy one piece of equipment that you're going to use once. Instead, grab something like this plastic bottle. Cut off the top and place it on whatever you need to strain something through. This plastic bottle is your five cent funnel.
