Cooking gourmet dishes on a budget isn't easy, especially when it comes to using fresh herbs. They can be really expensive and go bad super quickly. Well here's a handy trick on how to keep them from going bad. First, you'll need the herbs. Chop up whatever you're using that evening and, while you're at it, chop up the rest. Place whatever's remaining in an ice cube tray. You can cover it with Saran wrap if you prefer, but there's really no need, and then place it in the freezer. If you do this, you won't be throwing your money down the drain and they'll likely last you the entire semester.
