Kamri’s 2 MILLION Subs, Family Service, and Mindy’s Birthday!

In this week’s #BehindTheBraids, we celebrated Kamri reaching 2 million subscribers, observed Juneteenth by volunteering in our community, and celebrated my birthday!

Most of you know about my hair care line called Hairitage (sold in Walmart stores and online)! For Juneteenth, the company made a generous donation of shampoo and conditioner to the Martin Luther King Jr Community Center in Dallas, to go into hygiene kits along with masks, etc, for people in need. Our whole family was there and spent the whole day kitting the supplies, and then handing them out while observing social distancing guidelines. We met so many amazing people and it was another wonderful experience for the family.

We FINALLY met up with some online friends for the first time in person, @graceforthemillers! They also have a huge family, and between the 2 families, there were 14 kids at dinner! That’s a ton, and us parents were WAY outnumbered!
