How to Record Sounds
---------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Click on the Start menu at the bottom left of your screen.
2. In the search field, type in Sound Recorder then press Enter on the keyboard.
3. The Sound Recorder will appear. It has a Start Recording button along with Help and About buttons.
4. To adjust the sensitivity of your microphone, right-click on the Speaker icon in the bottom right corner of your screen. This will prompt a menu in which you select Recording Devices.
5. This will prompt the Sound menu. Click the Recording tab followed by the Microphone option.
6. Click Properties then Levels. This will open a slider feature. By clicking and dragging the blue toggle on the slider bar, you can adjust the microphone sensitivity. Once it is at your desired level, hit OK followed by OK on the next screen as well.
7. To record, click the Record Button. When you're done, click the Stop Recording button.
8. This will bring you to the Documents Library where you can choose where it will save the audio file to. This is where you can type in the file name and Save as type.
