We receive early messages of stereotypes and assumptions at an early age from various socializers. This session will focus on a deeper dive of the Cycle of Socialization. Participants will have an opportunity to reflect on the enforcements and results from those early messages. What were the messages we received about our own cultural groups, as well as cultural groups different from ours? Finally, participants will be asked to reflect on ways to unlearn and disrupt those early messages and ACTion steps to breaking the Cycle of Socialization.

This session is a continuation of Mirror Windows and Lenses Unlearning Early Messages. ( https://bit.ly/June23-Recording )
