My Updated Everyday Hair Routine

Since moving to NYC, I’ve had to figure out how to use less products because I don’t have a ton of storage space in my bathroom. In the past, my hair routine usually consisted of 3-4 styling products but now I only have to use one. This product has replaced my heat protectant, volume powder, texture spray and hairspray. Today, I’m showing you my simplified hair routine for when I want extra body… which is basically all the time!

WEEKLY UPDATE: This is one of those weeks that has gone by so fast! I’m pretty excited because Eileen flew in last night and I’m looking forward to spending time with her this weekend. On the home front, a couple orders (shelves + an entry bench) have come with delays and damaged items. The logistical process around returning damaged items that are big and bulky = not my favorite thing in the world. I did find some dining chairs, though, and I can’t wait to see them. It took a while to find exactly what I wanted but I think it’ll all be worth the wait. Honestly, this has been a week that has been filled with so much work + logistics + planning that I haven’t really had much downtime. BUT I will say, the moments that I’ve had to rest have been wonderful. I’m currently reading Modern Lovers by Emma Straub (LOVE) and I just finished season two of Atypical. I’m basically LIVING for this show, especially Casey’s storyline. Last but not least, I’d like to say thank you for the comments on my video about being the daughter of a breast cancer survivor. I’m so in awe of the courage and resilience you all possess. It’s incredible to see people reaching out and supporting each other, especially when we find ourselves in a time where the internet can be a contentious place. Your comments prove that there is so much goodness in this world when we choose to see it and create spaces for it. As complicated as the internet can be, moments like this renew my faith in the power of this tool and remind me why I’m still here. Thanks for being here with me. ❤️
