UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador Orlando Bloom joined UNICEF in visits to the borders of Greece, Serbia and the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia - all transit points for hundreds of thousands of displaced families and children making their way to Europe.
Bloom met some of the most vulnerable children on the move at a refugee and migrant reception centre in Serbia. He listened to stories of their perilous journeys, their concerns and hopes for the future. Many of them have escaped violence in Syria, Afghanistan and Iraq. Bloom called for greater support and protection for all refugee and migrant children on the move in Europe.
