Hurricane Maria is now a Category 3 storm. It made landfall on Puerto Rico after slamming Dominica and left Puerto Rico completely without power. The National Hurricane Center calls Maria "extremely dangerous." It has sustained winds near 155 mph. The hurricane is moving over the Dominican Republic, and will target the Turks and Caicos and Bahamas tonight and Friday.
Meanwhile, Jose has weakened to a tropical storm and is expected to pass east of New Jersey on Wednesday and offshore southeastern Massachusetts on Thursday. Flash flooding is a possibility in Martha's Vineyard, Cape Cod, and Nantucket.
