A gorgeous sweet treat for ANY event&while these are time consuming, they're not particularly hard. I'm on a bit of a Rainbow craze at the moment, creating a rainbow dessert table for my nieces birthday so there will be a bit more rainbow popping up over the next few weeks - I hope you enjoy it!
Tools and Equipment:
Shaker with some cornflour (corn starch and icing sugar are also good)
Knife
Paintbrush
A little water
Wooden skewar (stick) as thick as you can find, or a frilling tool
Fondant roller (or rolling pin)
Small circle cookie cutter
Ingredients:
Pre made cupcake
Some frosting (recipe link below)
Modelling chocolate (link to recipe below) coloured with whatever colours you'd like in your rainbow - Make this at least the day before, 2 if you can as it need time to set before kneading. Make it white, leave it to set and knead it till its like play-doh. Add colour paste and knead it in to as much or as little as you'd like to colour.
A little white fondant (optional)
