Watch a wacky cafeteria manager and no-nonsense physical education (PE) teacher join together to transform John M. Sexton Elementary School into a healthy place to learn, work, and play. With support from the Alliance for a Healthier Generation's Healthy Schools Program, they overhaul the school lunch menu, convince kids to try new fresh fruits and vegetables, and integrate exercise and physical activity throughout the school day. Schools across the nation are making similar changes, contributing to a "sharp fall" in obesity rates among young children, according to the New York Times. Sexton Elementary is located in St. Petersburg, Florida.
