Dead end:
Meaning- an end of a road or passage from which no exit is possible
Example - The car wash is at the dead end of the road.
Dead beat:
Meaning- A person who is an idle, freckless, or disreputable.
Example - Chase is always idle, he is a deadbeat.
Dead meat:
Meaning- Generally used to suggest that someone is in serious trouble.
Example - My friend Michelle is dead meat!
Dead to the world:
Meaning- fast asleep.
Example - Ryan falls dead to the world by 10 PM.
As good as dead:
Meaning- Someone being in a very bad state or situation with no way out.
