Hello! Welcome back to the continuation of the Tree of Life! Today we’re going deeper, exploring the 22 pathways between the 10 Sephiroth on the Tree of Life.
In the Sepher Yetzirah, these pathways are described as the remaining 22 paths in the 32 paths of wisdom, which follow the 10 Sephiroth. When looking at these paths, they would represent the active movement of energy from one Sephira to another. For example, “the path between Kether and Chokmah”; is seen in essence as pure formlessness moving into the first emanation of creation.
The letters are most commonly described by generally regular “everyday” objects or animals, like Ox, Basket, or Staff. Yet, what they are meaning to describe is far more abstract, and attempts to convey a universal archetype. For those who take the time to wrap their heads around these topics, it allows for any individual to observe these patterns relationship to their lives and the universe, and supports you in looking at all of life in a more connected way.
