We started the CuteGirlsHairstyle channel 13 years ago, on March 17, 2009, and it has been a amazing ride ever since. We appreciate and love each one of you who has watched our videos and supported our family over all those years... here's to many more years to come! ❤️

I started the Cute Girls Hairstyles website/blog in Oct 2008, and filmed our first 2 Messy Bun tutorials later that month and uploaded them to our personal YouTube channel. So we actually started on Youtube nearly 5 months earlier than the channel says. @Brooklyn and Bailey were 9 years old, @Kamri Noel was 6, Rylan was 3, and Daxton was only a few months old. Paisley hadn't even been born yet!

We now have over 17M total subscribers among our family of channels with over 3 BILLION video views! THAT IS A LOT! When I think of the millions of you who have learned how to braid here, have thought of me like another mother, or our girls as older/younger sisters, etc... it makes my heart swell with emotion!

Many of our earliest subscribers from 2008/2009 now have young daughters of their own, and are now using our tutorials on them. Many of these amazing women have written to me expressing how much our family/channel has meant to them over the years. They love getting to bond with their daughters while styling their hair, just like I did. These are the sweetest comments! You have all been such wonderful examples to me and my kids, and I will forever be grateful!

No, I am not quitting YouTube. I renamed the channel to Mindy McKnight as I wanted to share more with you than just hairstyle tutorials and family vlogs. Cute Girls Hairstyle will still be the official channel URL and makes up a huge part of our YouTube history.

As I watched this 13th anniversary video for the first time, I experienced a flood of emotions and the tears started rolling! ???? I miss all these tiny kiddos, and am SO GRATEFUL to have this YouTube channel as a place to rewatch those stages of their lives! This is like a personal family video journal for us, that we have also shared with you all! Paisley watches our older videos all the time, and it makes me happy that she gets to experience her older sisters at the same age as she grows up! (It makes my heart smile! ❤️????)

All the kids are now older, Brooklyn & Bailey have graduated from college and Bailey is now married to Asa. Kamri graduates from college next year, and Rylan graduates from high school this year. Daxton has a deeper voice than Shaun, and Paisley will be the tallest of all of us girls! I am here to tell you all, hug your family members and tell them you love them as often as you can... because time flies by SO FAST!
