Hello Ladies,
My name is Ali Graboski and throughout this video I'm going to mention some of the most common discomforts during pregnancy. Your body goes through a lot when you're pregnant and these changes can cause discomfort. For example:
Morning sickness - one of the most common symptoms of pregnancy and usually goes away by the end of 1st trimester
Backache - your ligaments become softer and stretch to prepare for labor thus causing strain on the joints in lower back and pelvis region
Bladder and bowel problems - e.g. incontinence, constipation, hemorrhoids
Skin changes - some women develop dark patches on their face or melasma (mask of pregnancy)
Cramps, swelling, and varicose veins - most common symptoms of pregnancy and require healthy lifestyle
Headache and indigestion - primarily caused by hormonal fluctuations
Vaginal discharge - occurs because cervix and vaginal walls get softer during pregnancy and discharge increases to prevent infections that enter vagina and travel to a womb
Fatigue - like many other symptoms of pregnancy, this one is also primarily caused by hormones.
