Betty demonstrates how to make Sweet & Spicy Fire Crackers for the 4th of July. These crackers have maple syrup and sriracha sauce baked into them!
Sweet & Spicy Fire Crackers
2 tablespoons maple syrup
1 ½ tablespoon sriracha sauce
1 tablespoon butter
2 cups Cheezits cheese crackers (or other bite-sized crackers)
Melt butter in a large pot over low heat. Add maple syrup and sriracha sauce. Bring just to a boil. Add crackers and stir to coat. Pour coated crackers on baking pan that has been lined with parchment paper, spreading to a single layer. Bake at 250 degrees (F), checking and stirring every 5 minutes. Remove from oven after about 25 minutes. Let cool completely. Store in an airtight container for up to 1 week. Enjoy! --Betty :)
