Secretary-General António Guterres expressed concerns over recent violence in Myanmar’s Rakhine state, which has led to nearly 380,000 people fleeing the country. He called on the Myanmar Government to address the root causes of the crisis, while urging countries to assist in efforts to aid the displaced.
