My name is John Phillips. We have horses, miniature horses. We have miniature llamas and alpacas, chickens, ducks. We have bearded dragons. Our website is www.squealsonwheels.us.Iguanas naturally live in a rain forest. What they eat is only vegetation, leafy green vegetable matter, and some fruits and flowers. While they're in captivity, we give them the green leafy substances of vegetables like romaine lettuce, kale, and other green leafy vegetables with chopped up and diced fruits and some vegetables. We usually feed them one time a day, but for the youngsters under two years of age, they like to be fed about twice a day. When we prepare the vegetables and fruits, chop them up, dice them up into small pieces, and then sprinkle them with a calcium powder and vitamin supplement that is prepared specially for the reptiles. They do need a calcium supplement for their food, and it's a very important requirement that you actually put that calcium powder and vitamin supplement on their food when they eat. Additionally, they like to have their food misted and sprayed, so it's nice and wet and moist, and while you're doing that, you can also spray and mist the iguana, they do like that, and it seems to bring them back into the rainforest habitat in which they used to live.
