My name is John Phillips. We have horses, miniature horses. We have miniature llamas and alpacas, chickens, ducks. We have bearded dragons. Our website is www.squealsonwheels.us.Leopard geckos are nocturnal, land-dwelling geckos primarily from the areas of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and some parts of India. They come in about 3 colors: yellow, they come in black, and orange, but they all have black spots, hence the little designation as leopard geckos. They stay relatively small as compared to other types of lizards, so it's one of the easier animals in the lizard family to maintain. They live between 6 to 8 years of age in captivity, although some of them get up to be 25 or 28 years old. Consequently, you have to be aware before you get a gecko, it may be a long-term commitment. It's just not a short-lived little animal.
