Our website is www.squealsonwheels.us.Leopard geckos have a couple of peculiarities that are not shared with other geckos. Leopard geckos are nocturnal. They come out at nighttime. They sleep during the day, and you need to know this in case you want to entertain children. Young children need to go to bed early, and they're gonna to be sleeping when the leopard gecko is up and active. Leopard geckos tend to be boring for children because they always see them sleeping in the daytime. Another difference for a leopard gecko is that they have eyelids, and some people say it's because they're nocturnal, and also because they live in a dusty desert regions of Afganistan and Pakistan. Most leopard geckos moisten and clean their eyes with their tongues; however, leopard geckos don't need to do this. They have the eyelids that satisfy that particular function. The third thing about leopard geckos that is different is that most geckos have toe pads that are adhesive. They can actually walk up the glass walls of a aquarium cage and walk upside down at times, too. Leopard geckos have claws on their on the end of their feet. It aids them in chasing their prey on the ground and helps them in digging.
