My name is John Phillips. We have horses, miniature horses. We have miniature llamas and alpacas, chickens, ducks. We have bearded dragons. Our website is www.squealsonwheels.us.Man: for caring for geckos you need a significant sized tank. A 10 - 20 gallon aquarium is what you need. The gecko doesn't grow so you don't need to buy a bigger one later. We need a hide area where they can hide and be safe and protected, where they can lay eggs and shed their skin. The ambient temperature should be about 75 degrees air temperature, but that hide area should be approximately 85 - 90 degrees. We use an underground heater for the tank; undertank heater, that keeps them significantly warm. We need a fresh supply of water, constant and clean, and they eat only live insects. They eat crickets and mealworms is what we feed them. We coat those insects with a calcium powder that is very necessary for their feed.
