United Nations - Police Commissioner Priscilla Makotose, the most senior police women serving the United Nations, explains the policing mandate of the African Union - United Nations Mission in Darfur (UNAMID). The police priorities of UNAMID are the protection of civilians and creating a protective environment for communities in Darfur.
