A United Nations tribunal convicted the former Bosnian Serb army commander Ratko Mladic on multiple counts of genocide, crimes against humanity and war crimes. Zeid Ra'ad Al Hussein, the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights, called the outcome a “momentous victory for justice.”
