You know, walking on the street people come up to me and ask, "Hey, why should I buy cheese at a cheese store as opposed to a grocery store," and I punch them in the nose. When you go to a cheese store, go in with the idea of something that you like and then let them sort of stretch that taste. If you like Gouda, you might go into the cheese store and say, "Rather than just a Gouda, what else would I like," and they might give you some Manchego or something from the French Basque region. It should be an experience, an adventure, more than just a purchase.
