United Nations- As the United Nations endeavours to relieve the plight of civilians in eastern Aleppo, in northern Syria, Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon - speaking to the media in the Austrian capital of Vienna today - stressed the importance of enabling humanitarian access to those in need, particularly in the absence of a political solution to the conflict in the Middle Eastern nation.
