Today I'll unleash your inner henna artist and have you drawing henna designs all over your friends and anyone else who will sit still. Another design that's really fun to do is the peacock. It's similar to the paisley, but it has a head and a beak and an eye and all sorts of feathers, and I'm going to show you how to do that. So you start out just like you would for the paisley, drawing kind of an s, but instead of making the s, we go around the back of the peacock and curve around and this is the body of the peacock and you'll see in a minute how it all comes together. And I bring this over and I start drawing the neck. So here you have the head and the body. Just draw a little eye, then you draw a beak. Usually in indian designs the beak is kind of exaggerated and curved like this. And then just like the paisley you can fill it with some kind of designs just get started here a little bit just to show you. You take that flower design that you learned how to make and just draw one of those in there and I'm gonna go up from there until you fill in the whole body of the peacock and also you might want to draw some neck rings there to give it some emphasis on the neck and then you can do some little I don't even know what there are called, peacock eyebrows, and I also like to give the peacock some feathers and again these are stylized, there's nothing really exact about it, we're just kind of creating beautiful shapes. And even these kind of feathers that I'm creating can be filled with some kind of design like I did the body of the peacock. So like I said you can fill it with some kind of design. Build up the design gradually. Fill a little bit more so you're in the body. Just very decorative peacock. Peacocks are symbol of happiness in Indian mythology, so that's why there used in a lot of bridal designs. So there you go. That's how to draw a peacock.
