You ever noticed how the first round of bacon that you cook on your stovetop doesn't come out quite right? One trick that you can do is condition your pan ahead of time with a little bit of bacon grease. You save the bacon grease from the last time that you cooked it and you take a little bit, put it in the pan and heat it up. As you spread it around the pan you get nice, evenly cooked bacon and it's ready to go.
