What’s your go to tip manage your stress and anxiety?
These techniques work to calm to the nervous system and manage cortisol levels, your stress hormone.
These tips are obviously not meant to replace actual medication and there’s no shame in meds here.
Of course getting 7-8 hours of sleep helps too!
Tomorrow, I challenge you to start your day like I did today. Say out loud three things you are grateful for! I went with my warm bed, my children and partner as well as my gratitude to be able to work from home.
It set a positive tone for my day.
I was able to do a 20 min HIIT ride on my Peloton and go for a 20 min walk outside. I enjoyed my fave calming gummies by @plantpeople (not sponsored! Genuinely love the calm and mood).
Yoga brings me so much joy and clarity but when it’s 70 in November, you go for that walk.
As a 40yr mom of three, my anxiety is something I work to manage every day. I’ve finally found a good routine and have had it relatively managed well the past two months. I find it’s worse right before my period. I wake up in the middle of the night and can’t fall back asleep!
I’m religious as a result of drinking my magnesium before bed! I swear it helps me fall back k asleep when I inevitably wake up!
how are you planning to manage your stress this week?
and I’m not against a glass of wine but personally I find it makes my anxiety worse so usually i opt to keep alcohol for social settings these days ????
