Betty demonstrates how to make Fresh Tomato Salsa. This salsa is made in a food processor and is comprised of fresh tomatoes, onion, garlic, a variety of peppers, cilantro, lime juice, and seasoning. This is a great summer dip for tortilla chips.

Fresh Tomato Salsa
4 medium-sized ripe tomatoes, peeled and coarsely chopped
½ cup fresh cilantro leaves, coarsely chopped
½ small onion, finely chopped
¼ green bell pepper, coarsely chopped
¼ red bell pepper, coarsely chopped
2 serrano peppers, minced
2 tablespoons lime juice
freshly ground coarse salt, to taste
freshly ground black peppercorns, to taste
corn tortilla chips, for serving
Place tomatoes, cilantro, onion, green and red bell pepper, serrano peppers, lime juice, salt, and pepper, in bowl of food processor. Pulse, until sauce is pureed, but still has some small chunks. Taste for seasoning, and add more salt and pepper, if needed. Pour into a bowl and serve with corn tortilla chips. Enjoy! --Betty :)
