This week Two Track features Emi McSwain performing an original titled "Rain" and "My Favorite Things" by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II. The series theme for the month of October is transformation.

Emi McSwain is a singer-songwriter and pianist from Boston, Massachusetts. She finds inspiration for her music through the universal emotions of sadness, love, rejection, and growth. Blending genres of traditional folk, indie pop, and jazz fusion, Emi reaches new depths while maintaining her goal of creating music for anyone who will listen. She appreciates challenges in the world around her and seeks new perspectives of people and music.

Two Track is a music video series designed for Berklee’s YouTube and social media channels that features artists in an intimate setting recorded with only one microphone and continuous camera takes. Each recording session will revolve around a single theme (i.e., connection, love, dreams) that can be expressed by the artist either through their track selection or through a short storytelling segment that will be recorded as part of the performance.
