Kieran Rhodes: Berklee Two Track | Gratitude

Singer/songwriter Kieran Rhodes performs a cover of "Sweet Baby James" by James Taylor, and an original titled "Disengage," which brings to life his recent feelings of isolation and detachment. However, through the creation of this work, he discovered a newfound gratitude for loved ones and the gifts of his musical talents.

Storyteller and former varsity baseball player Kieran Rhodes is an alternative singer-songwriter. After preparing for a baseball career his entire life, Kieran discovered his overwhelming passion for music in the middle of high school. He spent the next few years honing his craft, teaching himself to play piano, sing, and write songs. With only five years of musical experience, he has already released six singles and an EP, On the Corner of Somewhere Street. Kieran is influenced by greats such as Billy Joel, Randy Newman, and James Taylor. As he develops his sound and artistry, Kieran hopes to travel the world and perform, with the primary goal of telling stories.

Two Track is a music video series designed for Berklee’s YouTube and social media channels that features artists in an intimate setting recorded with only one microphone and continuous camera takes. Each recording session will revolve around a single theme (i.e., connection, love, dreams) that can be expressed by the artist either through their track selection or through a short storytelling segment that will be recorded as part of the performance.
