Singer/songwriter Maya Rae performs a cover of Bob Dylan's "The Times They Are a-Changin'" and an original called "Coffee Date" with her trio. Her story of transformation focuses on a crystal necklace given to her by her mother.
Maya Rae, a singer from Vancouver, British Columbia, has been singing professionally since age 12 and recorded her first album, Sapphire Birds, featuring jazz and classic pop standards, at age 13. In 2020, her sophomore album, Can You See Me?, was nominated for two Canadian Folk Music Awards in the categories of Young Performer(s) and New/Emerging Artist(s).
Two Track is a music video series designed for Berklee’s YouTube and social media channels that features artists in an intimate setting recorded with only one microphone and continuous camera takes. Each recording session will revolve around a single theme (i.e., connection, love, dreams) that can be expressed by the artist either through their track selection or through a short storytelling segment that will be recorded as part of the performance.
