This week Two Track features Zami performing an original titled "Thank You" and "They Could Be Wrong" by Lianne La Havas. The series theme for the month of September is connection.

Singer-songwriter, performer, and poet Zami grew up in Philadelphia and is currently based in Boston. Zami pulls her inspiration from singer-songwriters with a soulful edge like Lianne La Havas, Sara Bareilles, and Corrine Bailey Rae. The influence of these artists has allowed Zami to merge genres like pop, R&B, folk, and acoustic arrangements in her own writing.

Two Track is a music video series designed for Berklee’s YouTube and social media channels that features artists in an intimate setting intimate setting recorded with only one microphone and continuous camera takes. Each recording session will revolve around a single theme (i.e., connection, love, dreams) that can be expressed by the artist either through their track selection or through a short storytelling segment that will be recorded as part of the performance.
