Complete transcript: Quickly regulate nervous system

Today, I'm going to show you two different exercises that will help you feel less anxious and more calm. Now, these exercises are really accessible, meaning anyone can do them anywhere, even children. So, please feel free to share this video with anyone that you know that struggles with anxiety. But before I show you these exercises, I want to quickly talk about anxiety. Anxiety is actually our body's natural response initiated from something called our autonomic nervous system. Really simply, when we perceive a threat or when we feel that we're not safe in any way, anxiety is actually our internal alarm bell that signals to us that our body is mobilizing or is getting ready to protect oursel or escape the dangerous situation.
