The Holistic Psychologist: a quick way to regulate your nervous system using something called bilateral stimulation.
Bilateral stimulation activates both sides of the brain at the same time, which also activates a parasympathetic nervous system.

Bilateral stimulation is used to treat PTSD, anxiety, and depression.
You're going to take your hands like this.
and gently tap back and forth on your chest, this is called the butterfly hug. You're going to do this for one to three minutes anytime you feel overstimulated and anxious.
