TRANSCRIPT
So there's been a lot of discussion about whether to eat the rind on cheese on CHOW and Chowhound. So I'm here to try to answer that question. When it comes to the rind there are certain ones you can eat, and certain ones you can't, and certain ones it's really up to you. So a cheese like this one, the rind is meant to be eaten but, of course, if you don't like it then don't eat it. When it comes to a harder cheese, usually the rind isn't meant to be eaten. It just doesn't make the cheese taste all that good. So, for the most part, the rind on softer cheeses you can eat and the rind on the harder cheeses you should probably leave behind.
