Are you okay? Yeah. Why? You're just really quiet. I just want to make sure you're okay. Totally fine. I just sometimes get quiet when I'm tired. Let's put something on. Are you upset with me? I'm just putting on something to watch. I'm fine. Like I said, is everything okay at work? What do you mean? I mean, is everything going okay? I'm just putting on something to watch. I'm completely fine, like I said. Okay. Well, growing up, my dad would change his mood at the drop of a hat.

He was a moody man one minute and then the next he'd be completely fine or happy and the next minute he would start yelling at us out of nowhere and forget about it if something was out of place or me and my sister made a mess. It's damaged my nervous system and my amydala overreacts to every person's change in tone or energy. You might just be tired, but I noticed a complete shift in you and in the past when someone shifted, it meant I was going to get hurt or scared. So now I micromanage the emotional state of everyone around me in an attempt to stay safe and predict their behavior.
